Luísa Lacerda

Partner at MJAB, Luísa Lacerda has extensive experience with the Superior Courts, where she worked for nearly a decade. Before joining the firm, she served as Special Advisor to the Presidency of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), developing projects on institutional governance, artificial intelligence, data protection, and the improvement of the Court’s deliberative practices. She also gained prominent experience as an advisor to a Minister at both the STF and the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), working on matters of public law, constitutional review, and high-profile electoral cases.

She was a member of strategic committees for LGPD compliance and data protection in both Courts. Her career also includes work at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rio de Janeiro, advising on constitutional appeals, and at the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro, where she supported the admissibility of appeals to the Superior Courts.

Holding a Master’s Degree in Public Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, Luísa is a professor of Constitutional Law at IDP and has also served as an instructor in courses aimed at training TST staff on topics such as constitutional complaints and issues of general repercussion in labor law.

Author of academic publications on constitutional law, racial equality, and feminist constitutionalism, she actively contributes to impactful legal and institutional debates.
