MJAB partner Thatyane focuses her practice on strategic litigation and the handling of highly complex matters, particularly in corporate and tax matters, representing clients before the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), the Federal Supreme Court (STF), and the trial and appellate courts of the State and Federal Courts.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in significant judicial and administrative disputes, including matters before the Administrative Council for Tax Appeals (CARF), handling the analysis of complex issues, drafting pleadings and legal memoranda, and developing strategies to protect clients’ interests. Her experience also includes monitoring court proceedings and analyzing precedents and relevant legal issues to inform litigation strategies.
In other roles, she has handled civil, tax, and corporate matters, as well as proceedings before Superior Courts and public administration bodies. She began her legal career at the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region and the Office of the Attorney General of the Federal Government, experiences that contributed to her understanding of judicial and institutional advocacy.
At MJAB, her practice strengthens the firm’s ability to develop Legal Advocacy strategies for complex disputes, particularly at the intersection of corporate, tax, and procedural matters, combining technical analysis, legal strategy, and representation before different courts, authorities, and institutional settings.
