In recent years, Alan has represented leading corporations in tax disputes and negotiations exceeding R$ 60 billion, spearheading innovative strategies that seamlessly integrate judicial, administrative, and institutional tactics. His approach not only guarantees legal certainty but also delivers substantial economic gains for his clients.
Among his landmark achievements, Alan’s orchestration of groundbreaking tax agreements in the airline sector has set new standards for resolving intricate tax liabilities. These initiatives have not only influenced regulatory practices but have also become a benchmark for future high-stakes transactions across Brazil.
Alan’s distinguished career began in the public sector, where he advised judges and ministers at the TJDFT, STJ, and STF, before joining top law firms such as Mattos Filho. Today, he serves as a Director of the SHE Institute, advancing Migration and Humanitarian Law, and is a founding member of the Brazilian Institute of Tax Arbitration and Transactions (IBATT), a leader in innovative alternatives for tax dispute resolution. Since 2016, Alan has been a prominent voice in forums on tax policy, strategic solutions, and consensus-driven dispute resolution, including active participation in the Tax Affairs and Tax Reform Committee at OAB/DF.
