Oswaldo Othon de Pontes Saraiva Filho is the coordinator and author of several published books and more than three hundred legal articles published in the most important national and Portuguese legal journals. He holds a law degree from the Federal University of Ceará (1983) and a master’s degree in law from the Catholic University of Brasília (2012). Former attorney of the National Treasury (retired). He is Professor of Financial Law and Tax Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Brasilia (since 2015) and professor of the “lato sensu” postgraduate course in Tax Law at the Brazilian Institute of Teaching, Development and Research – IDP. He is the scientific director and founder of the journal “Revista Fórum de Direito Tributário” (since 2003), and a member of the Editorial Board of Editora Fórum (since 2003). Therefore, he has vast experience in the area of Constitutional Law, Tax Law, Financial Law and Public Law, standing out as an expert. Othon Saraiva Filho is a senior partner at MJAB, where he works in the advisory and litigation area.
